Rep. Jamie Raskin has represented Maryland’s 8th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives for 10 years. He is the Ranking Member of the House Committee on the Judiciary in the 119th Congress.
For more than 25 years, Jamie was a constitutional law professor at American University College of Law. He has delivered a series of landmark legislative accomplishments, including marriage equality, abolition of the death penalty, passage of the first Benefit Corporation law in America and most importantly, the first state law adopting the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.
Few national politicians know more about NPVIC's potential constitutional challenges as well as the practical issues of getting it passed in a state. Registration forms must be received by Pima County Recorder Office before close of business on this date.
October 7 - Ballots are Mailed & Early Voting Begins
October 23 - Last Day to Request a Mail Ballot
October 27 - Recommended Deadline to Mail Back Your Ballot
November 3 - Election Day (Last day to vote in person or drop off a mail ballot)

Every eligible voter deserves to have their vote counted.
That’s the cornerstone of our democracy. And we all suffer when eligible, registered voters are turned away from the polls, unable to find their polling place, or otherwise blocked from exercising their rights.
That’s why every election year, we recruit, train, and deploy thousands of Election Protection volunteers across the nation. These trained, nonpartisan volunteers serve as voters’ first line of defense against confusing voting rules, outdated infrastructure, rampant misinformation, and needless obstacles to the ballot box.
With misinformation running rampant on social media and thousands of proposed new anti-voter restrictions, we need our programs to match or exceed that effort in every election this year. This is simply an unprecedented time for our elections, and that’s why we’re asking for your help today.
